Our MARCH class follows current recommendations from the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC).
This 2-3 hour class covers hemorrhage control, basic airway management, CPR, assessing the level of consciousness of a patient, spine status, and hypothermia management.
The curriculum is taught using current best practices in a hands-on format. We use Doppler ultrasound to demonstrate and confirm tourniquet application, actively bleeding wound packing trainers, and a variety of other tools so that you can practically apply the skills.
A “care under fire” module can be added for groups that require that specific skill set.
All students will receive a first aid kit that includes the tools taught in the class. The specific kit can be adjusted as needed per group (additional materials, etc.).
